Hi, and welcome. We are two writers, mothers, sisters, daughters, and friends living 1,300 miles apart in St. Paul and Santa Fe. This blog is a long-distance lifeline, a place to post ideas about writing, motherhood, creativity, meditation, and anything else that inspires us or makes us curious (with the exception of tiny cute felted stuffed animals, or homemade crafts of any kind because we are not crafty and there is Etsy for that). Writing from the Nest grew out of a practical need to stay in touch—who has time to yak on the phone anymore?—but we welcome everyone to the conversation and encourage you to post comments and ideas.
